Thanks Ira. Another scam to watch out for are people selling services door-to-door.
I realize there are many out of work looking for alternative ways to generate income. But I wont take seriously someone who shows up at my door trying to sell me a house alarm system. That just screams ‘scam alert’ to me.
Also, everyone should remind elder relatives to not allow themselves be pressured into purchasing something on the spot, just because the solicitor says an offer expires today. Skip it and take time to do research.
