Please remember, if you are in need of any financial and/or tax advice during the course of the year, feel free to call to make an appointment.

It is that time a year again…over the next few weeks, you will be receiving a number of tax documents in the mail for you to prepare your tax returns. Other than tax statements from stock and mutual fund companies, all other tax documents must be placed in the mail no later than January 31, 2012. Remember to wait until you have received everything before calling for an appointment. If you are unsure of what you had last year, please feel free to call.

2. IMPORTANT DATES – MARK YOUR CALENDAR

You can make an appointment for preparing your taxes by e-mailing or calling. If you do not have time to stop by, you can simply drop off your taxes and we will call you back with questions, concerns, and the results.

Did you have a “side job” during the course of the year? If so, you might owe taxes come tax season…find out if you need to make an estimated tax payment remember that they are due on January 15th. Also, if you paid someone more than $600 during the course of the year for your business, you will need to send them a 1099-MISC. If you need assistance in preparing this, please feel free to call. These must be sent out prior to January 31, 2012.

Moving from one job to another, do you want to move your 401k but need some advice on how to move it, or even where to move it to, call for a consultation.
