1. WARHAFTIG & ASSOCIATES, CPA UPDATE
Please remember, if you are in need of any financial and/or tax advice during the course
of the year, feel free to call to make an appointment.
Just because it is not tax season, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be thinking of your
2010 taxes…if you owed money in 2009, there is a good chance you will owe again
this year. If you are concerned, make an appointment for a tax forecast to be done.

2. IMPORTANT DATES – MARK YOUR CALENDAR
Remember, if you received the $7,500 tax “Loan” in 2008 for first time homebuyers, you
will have to begin paying this back starting in 2010. My advice is to locate your local
Congressman and start a letter writing campaign to have them overturn this.
Please call if you have any questions or concerns.

3. Converting to a Roth IRA
2010 is a pivotal year for Roth IRA conversions – but is it right for you? This podcast
offers advice on conversion eligibility and answers to commonly asked questions about
this hot topic.

5. Procrastination and Your Finances
Given the current economic environment, many consumers approach finances with a sense
of foreboding. Because procrastination can actually cost money, here are a few tips on
how to keep from procrastinating on financial issues.

6. Why You Need a Home Inventory
Would you be able to list all the contents of your home if you had to? Most people could
not. A home inventory can help you determine what needs to be replaced – and facilitate
the insurance process – if you are the victim of a burglary, fire or other disaster.
